Content Development Training

We're starting a six-month program in July 2025 for people who want to build better digital content. This isn't about following templates—it's about understanding how real audiences interact with what you create and making decisions based on that.

How the Program Works

We break down content creation into three parts. Each one builds on what came before, so you're not just learning theory—you're actually making things people will use.

PHASE ONE

Foundation Work

First eight weeks cover the basics. You'll learn how content performs across different platforms and why some approaches work while others don't. We focus on measurement early because guessing wastes time.

PHASE TWO

Applied Projects

Weeks nine through eighteen get hands-on. You'll work with real briefs and actual constraints—budget limits, tight deadlines, conflicting stakeholder input. That's where most people learn what actually matters.

PHASE THREE

Portfolio Development

Final weeks focus on showcasing your work properly. We help you present projects in ways that demonstrate thinking, not just execution. Employers want to see your process, not polished surfaces.

What You'll Actually Learn

Each module tackles specific skills you'll use regularly. We adjust timing based on how the group progresses, but this gives you a sense of what we cover and when.

Weeks 1-4

Audience Analysis

Understanding who reads, watches, or listens to content. We use real analytics data to show you what engagement actually looks like and how to interpret patterns without making assumptions.

Weeks 5-9

Platform Mechanics

Different channels have different rules. SEO works one way, social media another, email newsletters have their own logic. You'll test content across formats and see what changes when context shifts.

5 weeks
Weeks 10-15

Iterative Development

Content rarely works perfectly on the first try. We teach you how to review performance, make adjustments, and test variations without overthinking every decision. Speed matters as much as quality here.

6 weeks
Weeks 16-20

Workflow Systems

Managing multiple projects simultaneously gets messy fast. We cover practical organization methods, collaboration tools, and ways to maintain consistency when deadlines start stacking up.

5 weeks
Weeks 21-24

Professional Presentation

Final stretch focuses on how you show your work to potential employers or clients. We review your portfolio together, refine case studies, and practice explaining decisions you made during projects.

Learning by Doing

Theory only gets you so far. We spend most of our time on real work because that's where you discover what you're good at and what needs more attention.

Classes run Tuesday and Thursday evenings, 6:30 to 9:30 PM, with Saturday morning workshops every other week. You'll need time outside class for project work—plan on eight to ten hours weekly for assignments and revisions.

  • Small groups of twelve participants maximum
  • Direct feedback on every project you submit
  • Guest sessions with working content professionals
  • Access to analytics tools and publishing platforms
  • Ongoing support after program completion
